Why dont people take dental treatment seriously?

Lack

of Awareness Less Importance Financial Reasons Dentists Mean Attitude Drill Sight of Instruments (Dental Phobia) Horror stories of Pain during treatment Dentist THE PREACHER

People take dental treatment as a NONHEALTH CARE ISSUE and commonly ignore it. infections are often overlooked and neglected. consider it NON-LIFE THREATENING.

Dental

People

People visit a general medical practitioner even for a minor symptom of fever. They avoid a dentist for a cavity unless it becomes a nightmare for them. They PREFER TOOTH EXTRACTION rather than saving it.

DENTIST!!!!!

Dr. Martone of Apple Tree Dental centre in Royal palm beach Florida concluded in his study, The overwhelming factor men and women tend not to see the dentist is MONEY, folks who are struggling financially tend to put off dental procedures until they become emergency situations, leading to bigger and a lot more expensive dental problems in the long run.

It creates a negative cycle where the poor eventually pays a lot more than the upper class. He concluded, FUNDS ARE THE TOP PREVENTIVE ISSUE FOR FAILURE TO SEE THE DENTIST

Plenty of people avoid the dentist for seemingly having a mean attitude. They are not friendly towards you. They give instructions with harsh voices and make you feel like a child. They tend to get under your skin with their arrogant attitude. When you complain of pain and discomfort, they disregard that and say you wont be feeling any pain.

DENTAL PHOBIA!!!

The drill or the sound of handpiece instills fear in a lot of patients. The sheer sound of it is something similar to a drill machine and letting some one put that thing in your mouth is not in your comfort zone. Many people have found shortcomings with the clinic itself. They dont like the look of it, or the sight of dental chair/instruments makes them feel nervous. A few people said they hate the smell of the dentists office.

Pain is a significant genuine reason for a person to be afraid of the dentist. You might have never undergone a dental procedure, but hearing all those horror stories of pain can make you hate the dentist. You could also have a previous horror encounter with the dentist.

Preachy dentists can be quite a pain too. They ask you how you have been doing with your dental hygiene and immediately start scrutinizing you if you havent been good. They scold you for your bad habits and give you the lesson.
