Action and Variety

Use Zoom Lens

Stadium = on the field with field pass


Field pass is on camera cases ISO 1600 and above at night ISO 400 and above in sunlight ISO 800 and above

Cameras #1-6 have zoom Cameras #17-20 have higher ISO Can sign out both together if needed

Gym = indoor sit at bottom of bleachers

Get Close

Level 2- shoot program Level 3- shoot manual/shutter priority T3i cameras have higher ISO settings 100-6400 XT cameras have a range of 100-1600

Camera Settings

Evening ISO between 1600-6400 Day ISO between 200-800 Avoid back of head/no face shots Shoot for either front/side of face

Shooting Outdoor Events

Both photos are correct lighting according to time of day. The angles are just right with the frontal view. Also, the faces are in full view, no back of the head shots.

Shooting Outdoor Events

Basketball, Volleyball, etc. ISO between 800-6400 Again, no back of the head shots, face in focus, etc.

Shooting Inside Events

Both of these photos have the correct lighting and angle choice for the situation. Face in focus, not too dark and not too light.

Alternate between portrait and landscape shots according to each situation Make sure to shoot while students are actually working Get a variety of different students/ activity

Both of these photos have the correct ISO setting according to the lighting. There are 1-3 people in each photo and it is easy to tell what the students are doing.

Also, each photo has a different angle. In classroom shots with no action, use a variety of angles including shallow depth of field, high and low angle, subject positioning, etc.
