Perfetti has not done much of brand extension. Can it do so, given the high cost of creating a brand in the confectionary market?

Find out the taste of the confectionary zone wise. Promote it with particular places. Collect the response from the market. Reduce the weight of the material. Attractive packing with a good slogan. This confectionary packed with a childrens favourite celebritys toys/ cricket ball, cricket bat, football, hockey stick, pencils, water cans.( confectionary want plastic jars or packing materials, we are promoting our confectionary include the cost of above items with a bulk purchase) Territory wise market study will give the hope of extension of Perfetti all of our main zones. With a good work level manufacturing centre it will reduce the transportation fee.

Should Perfetti try to exploit distribution synergies by launching new product lines like biscuits, chocolates, noodles, etc.?

Indian new generation following the Europen & Western cast & customs with their tips & tastes, so the new generation adjusting with the Europen & Western fast foods, biscuits, chocolates, noodles & confectionary . Today there is a competitive market for biscuits and chocolate. There is many international , national and local brands available in the market. It will need huge advertisement spends, manpower, time and tricks. Perfetti can try to launch in noodles segment, Indian customers are liking pizzas & bergars (McDonalds, KFC, Pizza hut and many other). So Perfetti can become market leader in this market.
