 Gambling has been around for hundreds of years
 There has been three waves of gambling throughout
history: 1. Colonial Period
2. End of the Civil War
3. Great Depression
 Gambling has still been going strong since the Great
Depression
 There are forms of legal and illegal gambling in almost
every country

 Gambling was once outlawed in most states at about the same time
as when prohibition took place
 Atlantic City and Las Vegas are the two biggest gambling cities in

 Many teenagers are active gamblers
 The most preferred methods of gambling by teenagers are by
playing cards and gambling online
 Other teenagers like to gamble on sporting events like college
football and professional football

Opinion
 I think that there is a problem with teenagers and
gambling. More teenagers have gambling problems
than people realize, and something should be done to
solve this problem.
