INTRODUCTION

Stress can destroy the mental stability of any individual. So be it a kid, corporate man or a housewife we all deal with stress and its management during our walk of life. It is basically a condition that makes us uncomfortable. Stress could be due to various reasons like financial crunch, job loss, emotional and any other personal reasons.

Ventura Securities Ltd. (Ventura) commenced operations in 1994 as a stock broking house. On its journey from then to now, Ventura has seen the capital markets mature and investors' requirements become more diverse. It has kept up with the times and today, it offers a whole range of investment products and services.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To find the stress of the employees in the Enterprise Service division of VENTURA SEURITIES Ltd. To suggest for reducing the stress of the employees. SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: To identify the causes of stress. To measure the performance of employees under stress. To measure the stress level. To find out the work life balance of employees under stress.

design is the arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the research purpose with economy procedure. TYPE OF SAMPLING:

The sampling type is non-probability sampling which involves deliberating selections of particular units constituting a sample, which represents the universe. SAMPLING PROCEDURE: The technique adopted is non-probability sample and more specific is convenience method of sampling. Convenience sampling is a non-probability sampling technique where subjects are selected because of their convenient accessibility and proximity to the researcher .The research may make use of any convenient base to select the required number of samples. This procedure is known as non probability sampling techniques. The sampling size was taken as 103

of the respondents are male employees About 51% of the respondents have work experience below 5 years About 79% of the respondents are between 25 to 40 years of age About 63% of respondents are married and most of them are male employees Majority of respondents says that their skills, knowledge and experience matches their job requirement 3/21/12

SUGGESTIONS
Sharing

of workload can be done equally and people should be recognized for their work and performance. Work life balance can be implemented, followed and measured for the well balance of each employee. Recreation club can be introduced within the company premises. Work life balance activities, such as team outing and games at weekend can
