Delosperma cooperi
- Pink flowers, green foliage - Blooms mid summer to mid autumn - Hardiness zone 6 - Groundcover - Not self sowing - Found in South Africa - Height to 4 in. (10 cm) - Spreads 12 in. (30 cm) - Planting medium 4 in. (10cm) deep - Full sun - Most common Delosperma in the trade. Rapid growth with large flowers.

- Dark pink flowers with yellow centers, green foliage - Blooms mid summer to mid autumn - Hardiness zone 9 - Groundcover - Not widely self sowing - Found in South Africa - Height to 3 in. (7 cm) - Spreads 6 in. (15 cm) - Planting medium 4 in. (10 cm) deep - Full sun - Compact habit; produces seedlings around the parent plants.

- White flowers, green foliage - Blooms mid summer - Hardiness zone 4 - Groundcover - Not self sowing - Found in Europe, western and northern Asia - Height to 6 in. (15 cm) - Spreads 8 in. (20 cm) - Planting medium 4 in. (10 cm) deep - Full sun - A staple for green roofs. Viable from seeds, cuttings, and plugs. Foliage turns red in winter.

- Yellow flowers, green foliage - Blooms mid summer - Hardiness zone 4 - Accent - Not self sowing -Found in northern China and southern Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Russia - Height to 8 in. (20 cm) - Spreads 8 in. (20 cm) -Planting medium 4 in. (10 cm) deep -Full sun -Often mislabeled in the trade. All parts of the plant are hairy. Mounds of green foliage in late summer.

- Yellow flowers, green foliage - Blooms mid summer - Hardiness zone 4 - Groundcover - Not self sowing - Found in central Europe - Height to 4 in. (10 cm) - Spreads 8 in. (20 cm) - Planting medium 4 in. (10 cm) deep - Full sun, mixed sun/shade, shade - A highly adaptable foundation plant for any location. Can thrive in shade and moisture. Foliage turns russer color in cool weather.

- White flowers, green foliage - Blooms mid summer - Hardiness zone 5 - Groundcover - Not self sowing - Found in eastern US - Height to 3 in. (7 cm) - Spreads 8 in. (20 cm) - Planting medium 4 in. (10 cm) deep - Mixed sun/shade, shade - Native of eastern US found along stream edges. Drought tolerant, but needs protection from full sun. Use in shadows or near drains.
