Do you agree that portfolio management of your investments can minimize risk factor to some extent?
90%
Disagr ee
Portfolio Management of your investments can minimize the risk factor to some extent. while 10% do not. They do not take advice from Investment advisor at bank who guides them to invest in such options, which would suit their profile sand that manage the portfolio of such investors to minimize the risk factor to the extent possible.
Finding
Today there are number of Banking options available to the public and out of
them which are the banks where the population of Savarkundla City transact the most was one of my interest of know and which is as follows: ICICI Bank SBI Dena Bank UTI Bank HSBC Bank Other Bank
There are number of Investment Avenues available for investing the amount
saved and generally people do invest in more than one of the options available and they may also invest in all.
Cont........
There are generally two main objectives for investors to invest in a particular option and among them Return is more important objective for 68% of population to invest while for 32% Tax-Planning more important. Generally investors know their capabilities to take risk. Thus the risk-return profile of investors is,
High Risk High Return Moderate Risk Moderate Return Low Risk Low Return
Investors invest in expectations of some returns. They want to invest for short term generally but expect good returns. They do not want blockage of their investments for long period. Thus, investment time frame of 34% is less than 1 year, 39% is 1 to 3 year, and 17% is 3 to 5 years and for 10% is more than 5 year 90% of respondents agree that portfolio management of investments minimizes the risk factor to some extent. while 10% do not.
SUGGESTIONS
I would like to recommend the bank to concentrate on the
advertisements on local as well as national channels about the HDFC BANK. Thus, I feel that if there are so many advantages of a bank and if it is such an experienced bank operating internationally since so many years then such features of the bank must be laid before the public by increasing the campaigning activities. Also periodically schemes need to be updated in order to be first among the competitors to offer innovative features to investors.
Conclusion
In my final training of 45days in HDFC BANK, Savarkundla. I learnt as much as an M.B.A. trainee is required to in the training programme. The entire project and project report is an unforgettable journey of support,
knowledge, experience, dedication, perfection, patience. And it is al about understand a customer interacting and making conversations with them etc. Customer is the center focus for every Bank, every sector as it is for banking sector also. The period of training was very interesting as all the members were very cooperative and they helped me a lot in increasing my knowledge and skill and helped me know that whatever I was studying has its own practical implications also.
