MARKETING DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE (MDA)


Applicable for participation in International Trade Fairs / Exhibitions, Buyer Seller Meets (BSMs) / Trade Delegations through the EPCs / ITPO. As per revised MDA guidelines, reimbursement for : FOCUS Area NON FOCUS Area Airfare + Space rent* Space rent only

( *Space Rent is applicable for Exhibitions & Trade Fairs only.)

Excursion Class Fare up to a maximum of Rs.70,000/-(Rs.1,00,000/in case of FOCUS LAC) shall be permissible.

FOCUS / NON-FOCUS AREAS


FOCUS AREAS There are four Focus Areas 1. Focus-AFRICA (including WANA areas) 2. Focus-CIS* NON-FOCUS AREAS ( or GENERAL AREA )

These areas include all those countries which doesnt fall under the above mentioned FOCUS Areas.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO AVAIL MDA


Should have membership with EEPC continuously for 12 months.

Export performance during the preceding year should be less than Rs.15 crores.
Only one visit in each of the Focus areas and one in the Non-Focus area in a financial year. ( a total of five events in one financial year) MDA benefit is applicable only to one Executive of the participating firm.

ISSUANCE OF MDA APPROVAL


Before undertaking the journey, the participant firm has to submit the MDA Application Form 14 days in-advance (excluding Date of receipt of the Application at the Regional Office and Date of journey). Documents required along with the MDA Application: 1. The Receipt from the concerned organizers of the event indicating stall booking.

After the tour, the application for claim should be submitted within 90 days of arrival in India along with the following documents :
