Background
Facebook was created in 2004 and it is become famous in 2007 where it have more than 21 million registered members generating 1.6 billion page view each day that was reported by Needham & Company. The members of Facebook spending their time about 20 minutes a day and two-thirds of users log in at least once a day. Capitalizing on its success among the college students, Facebook launched a high school version in early September 2005. In 2006, the company introduced communities for commercial organizations; as of November 2006, almost 22000 organizations had Facebook was used at over 2000 United States colleges and was the seventh most popular site on the World Wide Web with respect to total page views. Facebook is all about connecting people with people. Facebook users do a variety of things with the site: track news about friends far and wide; make new friends centered around common interests; share photos, music, links, and videos; organize and invite people to events; play games; spread the word about charities and causes; buy and sell stuff; market products; and much, much more. As a website, Facebook is accessible to all Internet users, where permitted. In addition to connecting people, third-party developers are creating a wide variety of applications programs that run within the Facebook framework to entertain and inform. Applications range from the silly to the serious, and new ones are added each day. What makes Facebook such a huge hit is its features and tools, and the willingness of its users to network with each other in their communities locally and globally.

Lately, using of Facebook among people widely spread. So this study to observed why people spending much time on facebook, how to overcome this problem and to identify the implications of Facebook.

To perceive why people are addicted to facebook To overcome the addiction among users. To identify positive & negative implications of FB to society.

The Phenomena of Facebook

Facebook.com is a social networking web site that allows members to share personal information, opinions, and media. When it launched in February 2004, Facebook began as a community just for college students. Membership has since been opened to anyone with an e-mail address and members can join themselves with an everincreasing number of networks - from academic institutions to cities to employers. Each member has a home page to post information such as birth date, interests, employment, and favorite books. Members can communicate privately with each other via "messages" or publicly via posts on another member's "wall". Facebook mainly focused on building network virtually and shares user's common interests, political view or activities by interacting in real time or offline.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY This research utilized both the quantitative and qualitative research methodology. The instruments used to collect the data were questionnaire. A set of questionnaire containing 15 questions. Different question-type such as yes-no, category, listing, scales, and openended were used in the questionnaire. Research Procedure Before the actual data collection period, a pilot study was conducted to assess the validity of the research instrument. Data Analysis To analysis the data, a total of five variables we had taken into consideration namely accessibility, distance of ages, affect measures9 study purposes and affordability. Data were entered into a computer using Microsoft excel. Results were presented through frequency counts and other descriptive statistics.
