A summer Internship Report on Analysis of Products in Karvy Stock Broking Limited

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project report basically throws light on the products of Karvy Stock Broking Limited. It explains how the products of Karvy operate in the Indian market. The products of KSBL have brought a great change and revolution in the stock market in India.

OBJECTIVE OF THE RESEARCH


Find out which company is good for the investors, where they should invest and how they should invest? Study and understand the concept of Demat account, investment process and benefits of trading in the share market. Create awareness among the people about various kinds of investment avenues available in the market and motivate them to invest money in share market.

SAMPLING METHODOLOGY
Sampling technique: The convenience random sampling approach was adopted in the selection of the sample. Sampling Unit: The respondents who were asked to fill out the questionnaire in Faridabad are the sampling units. These respondents comprise of the persons dealing in stock market. Sampling Size: Sample size of our research is 50. Sampling Area: The area of the research was Faridabad.

FINDINGS
Competitors- During the summer internship I found that the main competitors of Karvy are Religare, Share Khan and ICICI direct.
Time- The opening of Demat account takes around 1015 working days against the given 1 week time. PAN Card- PAN Card is mandatory for opening of Demat account, and many people still don t have PAN card. Charge- The account opening charge is high along with margin money, due to which people are reluctant to pay.

FINDINGS Contd
Awareness- Awareness about stock market and Demat account is very less among people, especially in outer city areas. Brokerage- The broker basically wants to earn brokerage and do not care about the need and risk appetite of the investors. Uncontrolled Branches- The branches are not very well furnished and adequately maintained. Good Research Report- Provision for good reports after technical and fundamental analysis of market.

What is online trading? How we do it? What is Demat account? What is NSDL? What is CDSL? Dematerialization of shares. How to open a Demat account? Meaning of Stock exchange. Mutual funds and Insurance Commodity and derivatives markets working. Futures and options

LIMITATIONS
