I remember the time we went to go and get him. He was love at first sight for all of us.

All of the
other puppies were piled up away from him. We first looked at a little girl puppy, but her eye was almost
blind, we didn’t want to have to see that every day, and be sad about it. He was the handsomest boy
there. We found their ad in the Newspaper. At first we were a little skeptical about it, but we caught on
with our eyes. It was a little home in the middle of nowhere- but it was worth it. It was like a farm, with
country people and all that kind of stuff. Peyton is now 2 years old. His name came from a football
player for the Tennessee Vols, Peyton Manning. At the time we were huge fans of the Vols. So that’s how
he got his name. His middle name is Manning.
Peyton is our happiness- along with Jackson, my other dog. WE always get his greeting when we
see him, which is licking your toes and legs/ankles softly- IT’S ADORABLE! I wish I could spend all
my time with him and Jackson, my other dog. WE have lots of nicknames for him, like ‘Boo boo’,
’Papers’, ‘Boo’, ‘sweet pea’, and ‘scampers’. There are lots more. By the way, Peyton is a long haired,
red miniature dachshund. We love him with all of our hearts. They’re my pride and joy.

We were in Charlotte, South Point Mall. We were in Charlotte for something for
my brother. Anyways, it was probably 9:00 at night. And we were still shopping. WE
had a ton of bags so we made my dad take them out to the car, Goochy.
When he was on his way to the car (it was dark this time of night) two girls
approached him and said, “Sir is that your car?” they pointed to Goochy. “Uh yes, why
do you ask?” He said. “We saw the window got crushed into and someone robbed your
car.” They said. “Oh no… thank you for telling me!” He told them. He dropped the
bags and ran towards the car. He saw shattered pieces of glass all over the empty
parking spot beside us. He called the police then us. We also dropped our bags and
headed that way. At first we couldn’t find the car, but then we found it standing out
with red and blue flashing lights. And, there were tons of police sirens going off. WE
were very stupid and took my brother’s x-box 360 with us for the car ride. And yes,
they stole it, and the Garmin, and my sisters purse. But before, there was a black out
and the whole mall freaked out. My sister and I suspected something weird about
that… I guess it’ll always be a mystery.
Wondering why we chose the name Jackson? Well, my mom’s
maiden name (first last name before she married my dad) is Jackson. So
she used to be Tonya Denise Jackson. That’s why his name is Jackson.
Jackson is a golden retriever. He’s seven years old.
He’s very special to us because of this: when we went to get him
from the breeder- I was about three, I stopped and looked around very
clueless. I saw an adorable puppy; that was being left out from all the
others, licking my toes. “I want him mommy!” I pointed down at the little
cutie. Now we have him, 7 years old, as happy as can be. But now, sadly,
he has an ear infection that my dad has to treat every night or so. I love
my doggy Jackson, he’s been cute since the first minute he caught our
eyes.
In life, things can get very tough, but in the end God makes
everything alright. Do you pray at night? You should consider
doing this. I even have to remind myself! Do you pray every
chance you get? You should try to do this too- DEFINETLY try
this! My family prays at dinner. I mean every time. They
sometimes let me and my sisters chime in and pray for the hurt
or sick at our school.
Pray at night, dinner, and most of all, every chance you get!
Without praying, life wouldn’t get you far and God wouldn’t be
able to know what’s wrong. I believe God will lead me to the
right/ wonderful life someday. Whatever happens, I will follow
God’s path/lead. Trust in the lord!

I started dance at about four years old at Miss. Vickie’s (Its really called La Chateau De
Dance). I love it. We have footage of me and some other girls doing it from CCES that are
now in my grade. Like Paula, Rachel, and I think Ali Timms (etc.). Back then I didn’t really
like it. But now it’s (other than hanging out with friends) one of my favorite things to do. For
some reason I stopped at like six years old and started again at eight years old. I love it
though. I shouldn’t have stopped at age six! I should’ve kept going!
In third grade- when I started back on schedule- I only did one class just to start off
again, that class was hip-hop. I took a step to 4 th grade and did four dances total; hip-hop,
jazz, tap, and musical theatre. Musical theatre was my favorite because the music was from
“Grease” the movie and we danced to all of its songs. Like “You’re the one that I want” and
others like that Gibber-gabber one (don’t know what it’s called). Then I took a large step (it’s
now) to 5th grade and have six dances. Those are, Jazz, tap, musical theatre, tap musical
theatre, lyrical, and hip-hop. I’m all booked except for Fridays (and of course the weekends).
I’m absolutely in love with dancing and never want to stop!!
My family is vacation crazy. We always have a plan for a vacation. Like
this year, we already planned to going to caiman islands. And also, we might
go to the Bahamas, where Atlantis is. In December, we already had our spring
break planned. Every spring break, we have to go somewhere. It’s just a
natural fact about our family. We always go to warm places. Usually the
Caribbean. Oh, the Caribbean, words can’t describe how wonderful it is!
We’ve been to Cancun four times, Barbados, Saint Martin, and pretty
much everywhere else that is warm in the Caribbean. Vacations are one of my
family’s favorite things to do. Before we go on a vacation, we go to Barnes
and Nobles and read books on it for a couple of hours. Yes, we are devoted to
vaycay. Don’t get me wrong, we definitely go on vacation in the United
States. Like Miami, Chicago, New York, Raleigh, and a LOT, I mean a LOT,
more. We go on vacation every time were out of school- that’s why sometimes
we skip a couple days, he-he-he. Go vacation!!!
This project took a lot of hard work, but it was
worth it. I like these kinds of projects, they let you
reflect back on these times. I now remember every
single memory in this project. This A to Z memory
book has let me really think hard about me. I learned
that whatever happens, just smile and nod. I think we
all have our own stories that we need to share, like
mine.
