My life A-Z

A is for the airplane ride to
America
I hate flying. In fact when my mother tells me that we are flying in an
airplane I loudly protest. When my mother told me that we were going to
America I was surprised felt sad but also happy. When we got to the
airport we were really late. My mother had to argue with the ticket
person because we were too late and he did not want to give us our
tickets.
When we finally got in the airplane I was surprised how big the business
seats were. Then the 9 hour flight began. It was really bumpy and I tried to
sleep but couldn’t. Every 5 minutes I looked on my watch. It seemed like
days. From the air my eyes stung. Finally the landed and I jumped up,
grabbed my things and ran out. Since that long flight I hate flying.

C is for the time my cat Cindy
dropped a chipmunk in my pool.
I have a cat named Cindy. She is a main coon and a very good hunter.
My cat always catches chipmunks or mice. She then lets them escape
and catches them again. Once she ran around the yard and we did not
know what she was chasing. Then she stopped and walked by the
pool.
Suddenly my mother shouted “what is that?”. She pointed to a brown
furry ball in the pool. I took a net and fished it out. It surprised me to
see a bay chipmunk in the net. I took it out and set it on a tree and
watched it scramble away.

D is for my dog.
I have a dog named Shiloh. She is a miniature Australian shepherd. Her fur is brown,
white and orangey color. She is really sweet and loves stuffed animals. She knows the
commands sit, down, paw, high five, stand, spin, rollover, play dead, jump, go lay
down, leave it, and drop it. She is also learning agility and Frisbee.
Every afternoon we train. She is learning how to jump through a ring. Once I sneaked in
the yard and saw my dog running in circles around the yard, she picked up her bird and
threw it in the air. Then she saw me and ran to greet me .she has wet paws because
she has never experienced the pool not having a cover on so she runs across.

G is for Germany
Germany is very different from South Carolina and the USA. Not
only as Germany is smaller and colder but the people are also
different. For example, many are grumpy and unfriendly. Also
there are no school buses. So the most schools you have to walk
to with a heavy backpack.
Our schools do not have lockers in middle or upper school. The
kind of scary thing is that middle and upper school kids are
together. What I am looking for to is going shopping with our
parents. There are 3 different schools they depend on your grade.
If you have A’s and sometime B’s you go the highest. B’s and only
about a few C’s in the second and C’s and F’s in the third school.

J is for Jonny
Johnny is my cat. I got it when I was about six. We got him from a
barn with about 60 cats. They needed somebody for him because
his uncle did not like him and attacked him. At this time we were
at another farm where we were for vacation. We got Johnny
when he was only 2 to 3 months old. He was white and orange.
I named him after a three legged cat without tail. The three
legged cat was really happy because people fed him. I wanted my
Johnny to be happy, so I named him Johnny. When we got him
we noticed that he got a little problem. Actually a big problem.
Because he was so young when we got him, he thought he was a
human baby. The problem got better because our other 2 cats
taught him.
N is for more about my
neighborhood

Since I can remember I live in a street with only boys. The only girl
there was four or five years older than me. So I always played with
boys. Mostly I played with a boy called Julian who is in my age and
a boy called Leon who is one 1 year younger. There as one
problem. I like girl stuff and they like boy stuff.
So we always play with animals. We fed my pet fish in the pond.
Also we liked wild animals. In spring we pulled out my Dad’s old
aquarium and filled it with water. Then we got buckets and went to
a lake at the bottom of our hill. We put the eggs in the aquarium
and watched them grow up. We also had hundreds of live bugs.
Reflection
With this activity I learned that more
things happened in my life then I thought. It
was a lot of fun writing about myself.
