and analytical skills, by giving you a case
study.
á Solve it and prove that you have it in you,
what you need to be a successful °

ules and Guidelines
á The team of minimum 2 and maximum 3 students.
á A student cannot be a member of more than one team.
á Solution format: Font size-12, font type-Times new roman,1.5
line spacing.
á The deadline for submitting hardcopy of solution is 14th
March, 2011 by 4:59 p.m.
á Teams would be shortlisted on the basis of written solution.
á One member of the shortlisted team needs to present the
case on podium on 16th March, 2011 for maximum 5 minutes.
á Vinners would be decided on the basis of written solution
and the case presentation on podium.

á The event is based on the concept of


bidding of the properties. It would be a
platform for the people with good
bargaining skills along with an analytical
bent of mind.
Rules and Instructions

1. Team of 2
2. The teams would be given a list of about
20 investment proposals along with their
current cost, expected sales value, and
other information to decide upon
whether to buy the property or not.
3. Teams would be provided with a fixed
amount of equity as well as debt limit.
4. Every team would compete for what
they think are supposed to be the best
of the proposals.
5. The team with highest Net Gain would
win.
6. In case of a tie, the team with the highest
ROI wins.

Vhat is it all about?
á A marketing event which would tickle the
creative instincts of the students. The
students would be required to make an
Advertisement for a given product.
° !
ü The Product would be announced 3 days in advance by the
business club.
ü Students will have to make a video of the advertisement
(mobile/digicam/handycam).
ü A team of 3 people (including the person handling the
camera)
ü The advertisement shouldn·t exceed 90 seconds.
ü The content of the video shouldn·t have any objectionable
scene or words.
ü The videos will be collected by the event manager on the
specified date. The videos could be mailed or handed over in
a pen drive.
ü The video must be playable in VLC media player
ü Prize money to be distributed only among 3 members not all
characters in case there are more than 3 characters in
advertisement.
