Senior Year of High School

Eligible Candidates

• Student must live within the city limits of Chicago and attend a high
school in Chicago
• High potential first generation, low income and underserved
students who qualify for selective and highly selective colleges
• The majority of successful candidates will have a minimum of 3.0
GPA and a 20 PLAN score or higher
• Students who are willing to be open-minded about their college
search
• Students should have a strong will to succeed, clear academic
prowess, and a desire to give back to their peers and community

• March 11th – All Applications and Supporting Materials Due


• Week of March 28th – Notification to students regarding whether or not they are
invited to proceed to round 2 of the application process

• April 4th – 21st – Interviews


• Week of May 23rd – Final notifications sent to all students
• June 4th – Program begins with a mentor & scholar breakfast
