4. The theist god : The one Supreme Being, the creator and ruler
of the universe.
ðWhy?
ðThis means that I will have to show you the remaining wrong box,
leaving the right box

ð That if there is an event which is statistically improbable, say the exact alignment
of the universe to allow life on uarth, then the designer itself has to be just at least
or even more improbable.
ðIt is an argument designed to counter the intelligent design one but I see this
exact argument being used against itself.
ðuinstein's e uation:
ðRearrange it:
ð There are some elements in Mathematics which are absolute truth, e.g. there is no
such thing as a s uare shaped circle, but not all.
ðMathematical numbers progress in the same way e.g. Ô,2,3 all go up by one but this
progression does not exist in nature.
ðIf maths is absolute truth then it should be able to put a value on infinity which is a
big discussion point in modern physics. By being able to know what infinity is it will
help to disprove the notion of a god.
ðAs humans we try to rationalise things and create patterns.
ðIf there is a god he must lie out of our rationale so using maths and science will
not get us far in this matter unless it is proven that there definitely is NOT a god.
ð Mathematics tries to understand the universe and its processes. But, the theist
god is not on the same level, physically, as the universe. So, theists using math's
to prove god are slightly contradicting themselves.
ðShould atheists have to prove their point or theists or the other way around?
ðAtheists have been able to diminish some theist arguments through the theory of
evolution.
ðWe are still at an age where we still have major breakthroughs to make in both
understanding of our universe and how to apply mathematics to understand it.
ðAs theists are larger in number they will always get the majority vote and Atheists
won͛t have more power until this changes: Only 2%of world population was Atheist
in 2000.
