GETTING TO KNOW CALCULATOR

Learning objectives
At the end of this topic, you will be able to:

Identify the function of main keys in scientific calculator.


Use scientific calculator to key in and view display of
whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers and decimals.
Identify the function of arithmetic operational keys {+, -, x,
/, and ()}.
Use arithmetic operational keys in arithmetic operation
that involve whole numbers, fractions and decimals
numbers.
Use scientific calculator to convert fractions to
percentages and vice versa.
Scientific Calculator
A calculator which use to make basic mathematical calculation
or involving scientific operations such as statistic, quadratic
equation, trigonometry and etc.

Consists of many key buttons and each button may have more
than one functions.
