Allied and axis were the two sides in which nations were
distributed.
These two fought against each other.
The allies primarily were Great Britain, France, Soviet
Union, USA, China, Canada. Poland, Australia, New
Zealand,
South Africa, India, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia,
Belgium, Denmark and Norway. The Soviet Union was
initially part of the Axis Powers but switched sides so did
Finland and Romania. By 1945, almost the whole world
were at war with the Axis.
The axis primarily were Germany, Italy, and Japan. The
axis also included minor powers such as Finland,
Slovenia, Hungary, Manchkuo, Romania, Thailand, Persia
and more.
