• A standardized brand is not always optimal. Economies of scale may not exist, the
discovery of a global strategy (even assuming it exists) may) be difficult, or the context
(for example, different market share positions or brand images) may make such a brand
impractical.

assets and competencies over time and obtains strategic advantages.
