• Introduction:
By this presentation I will do a Summary of the
activity develop during the last 17 months in the
IDT Company.
From the beginning I was appointed to performance
the role as Technical Advisor within the
Infrastructure Team in the Region, participating in
the School, Health, DoJ for Disabilities and High
Court Programmes.
 Eradication of Mud School
Programme
Active participation and systematic in the
whole building process of the construction
of the new school Sevengwana High
School, within the Eradication of Mud
School Programme. This Project started in
August of 2008 and finished in April of
2009.
 DoJ for Disable People
Programme
 Quality Control Inspection to DoJ
Disabilities Program: Setting Technical
Report about quality issues and progress to
24 Projects in terms of accomplishment
with the Standard Specification for
Disabilities People and the work’s
execution according to approved drawings.
 Muyexe 100 Days Programme

Quality Control Inspection to 3 Projects within

the Muyexe 100 Days Programme. Setting
Technical Report about quality issues and
progress to follows Projects:

 Multi purpose Centre.

 Storeroom.

 New House.
 SASSA Programme.

I was appointed to advice this programme

from December 2009 and during this period
I have kept the site inspection every
Wednesday to different projects which
have been in the phase of final closure.
 Manganeng Project. (Finished)
 Van Vendel. (Finished)
 Makhuduthamaga.
 Challenges and Issues
 The last February 26 I got the South African Driver
License so now we are waiting for the appointment a car
in order to be able to go to my site inspections regularly.

 We must be able to have access to Dashboard and

Microsoft Project Schedule of the project belongs to our
programmes.

 Implement the Quality Management System

 Start the Program for Skill Transference according the

need in the Region.
 WAY FORWARD
Be able to go to my site inspections regularly
using the assigned car.

Be able to use all the tools available in the IDT

system to check our project’s performance

Collaborate in the implementation of Quality

Management System in the Region.

Elaborate and develop the skill transference

program in the Region adequately.

 The ramp with
handrails to the toilets
access was built with a
correctly gradient
(10%), but don’t exist
the walkway towards
the ramp.
The small ramp to access to the Court Hall was
built with a correctly gradient too
The disable parking was built according the design and
the standard specifications, the vertical signs were
placed correctly but the horizontal signs were not put
according to the standard specifications
 The two new public
toilet for disabled
people were built with
the quality required

The execution quality is well in general in this Court.

The problem with the horizontal grab bar, toilet roll
holder, door lock and vertical grab bar must be
resolved in the less time possible to the disabled
people can use.
