This time choose DzÚhange Passworddz
Type in your new password twice
Úlick through the screens until you have to answer the
question again then save your information
This should get you back the original screen

Úlick on DzAwaredz
In the bottom left corner, click on DzÚreate a New Testdz
Úhoose Úreate a new blank test
Úlick Next in the bottom right corner
Add a title for the test
Úhoose a grade level from the drop down menu
Úlick next

Úhoose your campus by clicking on the + sign
Now choose the content area
And then the grade level
Úlick next
Now click Finish in the bottom right corner

îere you can add Instructions for the test and/or
Notes for this test

Úlick on the Úurriculum tab at the top
From here, you can add or remove courses
For Example:
You want to test prior knowledge in a îigh School Math
class
You chose your class, Algebra I, in the start up
information
You can now add 8th grade and 7th grade math
You can also change your mind and delete a course

Now click on the Questions tab
In the screen that appears, you may add questions of your
own by clicking the DzAdd Questiondz icon
Úhoose the type of question from the drop down menu

Numerical Response
Úonstructed Response
Resource
Enter the question text and then answers
Be sure to mark the radio button next to the correct
response
Úlick DzFinisheddz in the bottom right corner

You can click on the Search Item Bank option on the
right side

You can type in key words to search

Úlick on the 2 blue down arrows
This should drop down a list of SEǯs for the courses you
chose
Úhoose 1 SE Ȃ I have not found a way to choose more
than 1
Science Ȃ scroll down to the new TEKS
Úlick on Search Item Bank

You should now have a list of possible questions
From here, you have several options
Úhange the Ôbjective
Úhoose a Difficulty level
Úhoose a Difficulty level
Úhoose level from Bloomǯs
Úhoose the type of question
You can also preview the questions by clicking on the blue
down arrow to the right of each question
You may add the question to the test by selecting the green
+ sign to the right of each question

To Print your test:
Úlick on the Printer icon
Úhoose Print Test Booklet
This will give you a PDF document
Úhoose the print option in the pdf
Úlick on the Printer icon again
This time, choose Print Test Key
This will give you the test key in a pdf document
The key will include objective and SE/TEK

While in the question edit page, you can also:
Úhoose a Booklet Style
îover over the Icons next to Text Style
Elementary
Secondary
Modified
Simple
Úlick on the icons to see the changes

The Alternate button changes the response option
Default options are ABÚD FGî
Úlicking the button will change the response options to
ABÚD ABÚD

To go back to a test you have already created:
After logging in and choosing aware,
Úhoose DzÚreate a New Testdz
Then click the radio button for DzÚopy an Existing Testdz
Úlick Next in the bottom right corner

You will see a page that says Teacher Test
Úlick the + sign to the left
Úlick + sign before 2020 Ȃ 2011
Úlick on the grade level for that test
If you only teach 1 grade level, only 1 grade level will appear
Now choose the test
Úlick Next

You can change the title or the Grade Level Ȃ ÔR Ȃ
leave it alone
Úlick Next
Úlick Finish
Now you may change information
EX: You can change/add/delete test instructions.
EX: If you choose the Questions tab, you can omit
answers and change formatting for a TAKS-M
assessment
If you are making changes and want to keep the
original test, be sure you change the name of the test.
