INDIGENOUS SOURCES
 Indigenous media may be
defined as forms of media
expression conceptualized,
produced and circulated by
indigenous people around
the globe.
ORAL TRADITION

 It is a form of narration or
storytelling. Through legends,
folktales, epics, mythologies
and folk song.
Here are some examples of oral
tradition:
• LEGEND
It is a fiction which tells about
the origin of something.
Example: The Legend of
Pineapple
• FOLKTALE
 A folktale is a narration about
the characteristics of the time
and and place in which the story
is told.It reflects the culture and
values of the place where the
story is first told.
