1. Pupils listen to the song (Track 84). Get Smart plus 3
2. Pupils are ask to rub their stomach as they hear the food in the song. Student’s Book, p.55
Lesson delivery Teacher’s Book, p.88–89
1. Pupils are directed to the lyrics teacher wrote on the board. Food flashcards
2. Pupils selected in random, come to the front and underline 6 food in the
lyric. 21st Century Learning
3. Pupils are explained the uses of phrase “There is” and “There are” in a Think-Pair-Share
sentences.
4. Teachers shows food flashcards and elicits pupils’ understanding on the Assessment
uses of “There is” and “There are” by asking questions, example: Formative pencil-paper assessment
a) How many carrots are there?
b) How many sugars? Reflection
c) Pupils are introduced to the TiTa box
d) Puils make sentences using Tita box by using the pictures given and
paste it to the correct box.
e) Each pupil is given a worksheet. Pupils are asked to answer the Remarks
worksheet. Choose an item.
f) After the activity, pupils whom teacher selected in random will tell to
the whole class about his/her answers. Other pupils check their answers
while the pupils is speaking.
