D160 (TC-39) at Alveo Park Cascades Project using the TC-1 (TC-31)
Luffing crane SCM D160

TC will be erected Free Standing Set-up with 7.5meters base mast, 11

standard masts for 2x2x3m mast;
1. Install Base Mast (7.5 meters mast) into the fixing angle.
* Base mast = 4.087t

2. Install 3 sets of standard Mast section (2mx2mx3m) next to the base mast
* Mast (3 meters) per section = 1.473t

3. Continue installing the remaining standard masts.

4. Install Ring Gear/Turn Table with the operators cabin into the 11th mast section.
* Ring gear/Turn table = 7.083t
* Operator Cabin = 415 kg

5. Install the counter jib into the turn table/ring gear with out luffing and hoisting motor .
* Counter jib = 7.790t
* Hoisting = 1.863t (without cable)
* Luffing = 2.915t (without cable)

Important: TC is strongly forbidden with the wind speed exceeds 50kph.

6. Install 1 counter weight at the counter jib as balancer.

* Counter Weight 1 = 3.250t
* Counter Weight 2 = 2.3t (3pcs)
* Counter Weight 3 = 1.5t

7. Install the hoisting winch and gantry

* Hoisting winch and gantry = 5.456t

8. Assemble 50 meters Jib on the ground.

9. Connect/reeve the electrical cable and wire rope on the ground after assembling the jib.
10. Lift the assembled 50 meters jib and connect to the top mast.
* Jib/boom = 6.392t
11, Fix the Tie bars to jib section.
12. Install the remaining counter weights to the counter jib as designed.
13. Connect all the Electrical Control/Supply Cable.
14. Testing all electrical control panel/ supply cable.
15. Commissioning and Reeving of Hoisting Wire Rope..
16. Calibrate all Limit Switches.
17. Load Testing with 3rd Party involve.
18. Turn over the unit to the project operation.

Important: TC is strongly forbidden with the wind speed exceeds 50kph.

Safety Reminders during Erection

• Operators shall conduct pre-used inspection and permits prior to work
commencement
• Riggers/erectors shall ensure clear communication with the operator.
• Complete PPE with double lanyard harness foe working at heights
activity.

• Erectors Reminder:
* Ensure physical wellness before working at heights.
* Check and secure tools to be used.
* Ensure clearance beneath working at heights activity.
* Ensure clear communication with the lifting team.

* Check all lifting accessories prior to work
* Know the load to be lifted and communicate with the operator.
* Always use a tag line
* Secure the perimeter.
* Never stand under the load being lifted.

• Operator Reminder:
* Conduct pre-use inspection prior to work
* Do not bypass the limit switch
* Know the load to be lifted, verify SWL on the load chart.
* Check vertical/horizontal radius of the crane
Important: TC is strongly forbidden with the wind speed exceeds 50kph.

Safety Measures

• Read and understand the operation and service manual rules before
operation.

• The operator should always remember all kinds of safety measures

and recognize the fatalness and the operation rules should visible.

• Crane operators should used to read the warning board about safety
and dangerous.

• Stop the operation and report immediately to the concern personnel if

the crane encountered abnormalities.

• Do not exchange or add any parts unless manufacture agrees.

• Examine and repair, lubricate and debug the crane in accordance with the cycle
that specified in the instruction manual

• The crane operator should be aware of the position of the fire proofing equipments and its
usage.
Safety Rules During Working Stage
• Before each starting check the order from the work principal. Switch on, got rid of fill block,
loosen the device or other fixing device (wind power <13m/s).
Check that there is no obstacle on the track, check all the protection
and safety devices whether in normal condition

• Operating the crane should in the cab or on navigation stage.

• Testing the action of every mechanism whether normalization with no

load and low speed.

• Forbid the load pass over the person when operating the tower crane.

• Somebody should present when the load out of the sight line.

• Do not sling the over weight load out of the specified radius.

• Do not use the limiter and brake as normal stop device.

• Do not make safety device short circuit , change the adjustment or obstruct normal working.

• Work ending, raise the hook below the limit point and forbid leave the load in the hook.

• Parked the trolley closer to the mast when operation end.
