Morden Construction Technology
• Morden construction is the process
of preparing for and forming
buildings and building system.
• The process of building large
structures with the minimum
environment.
• Construction starts with planning,
design and financing and continues
until the structure is ready for
occupancy.
Concrete walls and floors
• Concrete walls is an electric
category with options for
everything like seat walls,
decorative interior or exterior
finishes; sound walls that
about a freeway; retaining
walls to hold back the earth;
to the very walls that comprise
the exterior. Concrete has
become the new flooring
materials of the latest
technology
• Concrete has become the
new flooring materials of
the latest technology.
• Whether its acid stained
painted, overlays
microtoppings, radiant
floors, concrete floors offer
a range unlike any other
material.
• concrete flooring,
sometimes referred to as
cement flooring.
• One of the major benefit
of concrete floors is their
affordability compared
to other flooring
options.
• Concrete flooring is ease
of maintenance.
• When properly sealed
concrete floors can be
cleaned with a quick
pass of a dust mop.
Precast flat panel system
• Floor and wall units are produced off-
site in a factory and erected on-site to
form robust structures, ideal for all
repetitive cellular projects.
• Panels can include services, windows,
doors and finishes.
• Building envelope panels with factory
fitted insulation and decorative
cladding can also be used as load-
bearing elements.
• This offers factory quality and accuracy,
together with speed of erection on
site.
Twin wall Technology
• Twin wall construction is a walling system that
combines the speed of erection and quality of
precast concrete with the structural integrity
of in-situ concrete to provide a hybrid
solution.
• Twin wall is an adaptable wall system that
provides the structural and waterproof
reliability.
• The prefabricated panels comprise to slabs
separated and combined by cast –in lattice
girders.
• The units are placed temporarily propped,
then joined by reinforcing and concreting the
cavity on site.
• Twin wall is usually employed in association.
Flat slabs
• Flat slab are highly versatile elements
widely used in construction,
providing minimum depth, fast
construction and allowing flexible
column grids.
• Flat slabs are particularly appropriate
for areas where tops of partitions
need to be sealed to the slab soffit
for acoustic or fire reasons.
• Flat slabs are considered to be faster
and more economic than other forms
of construction.
• Flat slabs can be
designed with a good
surface finished to the
soffit, allowing exoposed
soffits to be used.
• This allows exploitations
of the building’s thermal
mass in the design of
heating, ventilation and
cooling requirements,
increasing energy
efficiency.
Floating Columns
• The floating column is a vertical
member which rest on a beam
but does not transfer the load
directly to the foundation.
• The floating column act as a
point load on the beam and
this beam transfers the load to
the columns below it.
• The column may start off on
the first or second or any other
intermediate floor while resting
on a beam.
Slab chairs
• Bar chairs are simply used in order to
make sure that the reinforced bars do
not touch the framework while
loading the fresh concrete. If bar
chairs are not provides then the bars
could expose to the lower surface of
slab and thus the corrosion of the
bars can seen in long time
• Thus in order to assure the protection
of the bars it should be perfectly
embedded inside concrete mass. And
so the bar chairs are use to lift them
from framework
Advanced materials
• The new emerging building materials should
be replaced with the old one to improve the
properties of materials and helps in recycling
of the materials to save energy, time, money
and make our country as pollution free.
• So more innovative materials should be
created and make construction of the building
simpler with more strength.
Porotherm smart bricks
• Porotherm brick is type of
engineering brick. Porotherm are
advanced smart clay brick or
walling material designed for all
building formats .
• This is a product specially created
keeping in mind the changing
climatic conditions, keeping
homes naturally cool &
comfortable throughout the year
for generations
Advantages of porotherm bricks
• Light weight (60% less weight than conventional
walling material),
• Strong & durable- high Compressive strength
• Excellent Thermal and Sound Insulation
• Low water absorption of ~ 15%, thus minimal risk of
dampness, cracks or shrinkage of walls
• Non-susceptible to carbonation thus providing greater
durability
• Fire protection
• Easy installation
AAC Blocks (Aerated Autoclaved Concrete Blocks):

• AAC also used in this structure. AAC blocks

are light weight Aerated Autoclaved
Concrete Blocks. It is manufactured through
a reaction of aluminium and a proportionate
blend of lime, cement and fly ash. During
this process, the hydrogen gas that escapes
creates millions of tiny air cells, rendering
AAC with a strong cellular structure.
• AAC blocks are further strengthened by high
pressure steam curing in autoclaves. The
product thus formed is not only light weight
but also has higher Compressive strength.
Benefits of AAC Blocks
●AAC block has a weight of 9-12 kg depending on moisture conditions.
When compared with redbricks 60% of dead load on structure is
decreased.
● It not only decreases the dead load on the structure. It also depreciate
the use of Steel and concrete in structure.
● Jointing AAC bricks are economical. As mentioned 1 AAC brick = 7
bricks. For Jointing 7 red bricks with each other it requires more jointing
mortar when compared with jointing one AAC block to other.
● Compressive strength of AAC block is higher 5-6N/Sq.m whereas the
redbrick has a Compressive strength of 3.50 N/Sq.mm
● Fire resistance: They offer good fire resistance from 2 hours up to 6
hours depends on size. These blocks are highly suitable for the areas
where fire safety is of great priority.
Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K Waterproofing

• Waterproofing in buildings is the formation

of an impervious barrier over surfaces of
foundations, roofs, walls and other
structural members of building to prevent
water penetrations through these surfaces.
The building surfaces are made water-
resistant and sometimes waterproof.
• Waterproofing in buildings and structures
are generally required for basement of
structure, walls, bathrooms and kitchen,
balconies, decks, terrace or roofs, green
roofs, water tanks and swimming pools etc.
Features & Benefits

• Flexibility - Provides a flexible & low permeable coating.

• Water permeability - excellent resistance to ingress of water.
• slip resistant - Provides slip resistant coating.
• Waterproof - waterproof for concrete structures.
• Adhesion - excellent adhesion to concrete, natural and artificial
stone.
• Diffusion - excellent resistance to chloride ion diffusion and
carbon dioxide.
• Low temperature resistant - resistance to freeze-thaw cycles
and de-icing salts.
• Carbonation - Prevents carbonation of cement concrete.
Cool paint (Heat Reflective paint)

• Cool paint is Heat Reflective paint and this pain has been
designed to reflect more sunlight and absorb less heat than a
standard roof. Its application reduces roof temperature and
correspondingly reduces room temperature. In the case of air-
conditioned spaces.
• wearing light-colored clothing can help keep you on a sunny day,
cool paint material that is designed to reflect more sunlight.
• Good cool paint has SRI Value 121-123 Solar Reflectance Index
(SRI): Incorporates both solar reflectance and thermal emissivity
in a single value. SRI measures the roof’s ability to reject solar
heat. The good cool paint has SRi value of 122.
Benefits of cool paint

• Ultraviolet and Infrared Resistant – Continuous

rejection of solar heat resulting in drastic
reduction of roof heat. Increase in temperature
due to heat radiation from the roof is stopped,
keeping the coated area comfortable even in peak
summer afternoons.
• Reflecting UV and IR rays back to the atmosphere.
• Eliminates the necessity for false ceiling.
• Can be coated on any roofing material / side walls.
• Prevents Island effect.
• Helps in reducing the emission of greenhouse
gasses and global warming
