BACKGROUND

Disruption in the stator windings can be caused

by
1. high temperatures ,over current which cause
the stator to burn,
2. short circuit damage to the stator also causes
the rotor rotation to decrease and the
induction motor to be totally damaged

Normal Condition
STATE OF PROBLEM

a. How is the design system of stator fault detection on induction

motor?
b. How does identify induction motor fault using electrical signal?
SCOPE OF PROBLEM

1. The detection system only for single-phase induction motor with

a particular specification.
2. This system only detect fault of induction motor stator.
3. The parameters used to detect are current and voltage
4. Induction motors are used to detect the no-load condition.
PURPOSE

1. To create a system that can be used to detect stator fault of

induction motor .
2. Early detection of stator damage while the motor is in
operation will prevent damage to the next winding.
ELECTRIC SIGNALS ANALYSIS

Analysis of the stator current is performed by Fast

FourierTransform (FFT)

Parameters Test :
-reference to nominal limits of current flowing on the stator induction
motor based on the specification data contained in the existing plate name
of the induction motor.
- Induction motor stator with normal condition as reference for validation
of damaged induction motor data result.
