Era of 4.0
Family as one of the pillars of education is faced with
technological disruption and paradigm changes in line with
the era of 4.0 and even 5.0. Relevant to what was taught by
Kholifah Ali bin Abi Tholib who stated; educate your child in
accordance with the times, because they do not live in your
day.

The fourth generation industrial revolution is characterized by the
emergence of supercomputers, smart robots, vehicles without
drivers, genetic editing and the development of neurotechnology
that allows humans to further optimize brain function. technological
sophistication must be responded positively by the user. Users must
first prepare the will, ability and knowledge of the products resulting
from the advancement of technology, so that it can be applied
positively to the advancement of education, health and human
goodness. Another variable that becomes very important in realizing
family education is the existence of Government policies that
support the implementation of educational theories

parents, educators and policy makers in improving
supporting infrastructure to achieve the goals of a
better and more advanced nation.

Industrial revolution 4.0 has implications for children's education in the family.
This is due to the fact that families change with the use of information
technology as a medium of communication and learning for family members.
Communication patterns, control of family activities, and learning resources
are slowly shifting from physical to virtual.

The implications of shifting paradigms in families affected by information


technology are the need for control instruments and understanding among
family members so that technology does not reduce the human relations side
in the family.
