You can, however, manage yourself.

168 hours = 1 week = your choice what to do


with those hours.

Remember: College success requires 7 days


per week. Plan for some school work when
you are not in school.

Suggestions for effectively using time:

Follow a daily schedule


Use a planning calendar/system
Write down all of your regular activities
Allow time for sleep, fun, and fitness

Schedule review time before and after
class, if possible
Study the same subject at the same time
each day you study it (develop a standard
routine)
Plan time to study for exams or to work on
major projects

Being organized = having a plan, knowing


what you are doing, and knowing where
things are

Failing to plan = PLANNING TO FAIL!

Use a personal planner or calendar
Include Saturdays and Sundays in organizing
yourself
Document when exams are scheduled, when
papers are due, and when you have time to
just RELAX!
Organization will help you stay on top of your
game = no surprises!

time wisely.

Lack of self discipline = lack of organization

Keep a positive attitude – don’t let life get you

Set goals – use a map to guide you on your road
to success
