SEMESTER SYSTEM

 Trimester with 12 weeks of study in each semester

 3 main semesters ; January , May & September
 12 wks of study, 1 wk of mid sem break, 1 wk of revision and 2 wks of
exam
 1-2 weeks to register subject, add & drop subject, defer semester,
transfer.
 Drop course, Defer and Transfer is advisable to be done at the end of a
current semester or 1st week of a new semester.
 Semester registration normally during the final exam of the particular
semester
 Week 13 onwards of the current semester till 2nd wk of new semester
