EVIDENCE
• Testimonial evidence is what people say to the auditor. It is the weakest
form of evidence, but some testimonial is stronger than others.
• For example, the person who performs a task can provide stronger
evidence of how the task is actually performed than a supervisor who
may only know how it should be.
