KEY DIFFERENCES : PRICE RANGE
Recently created a new segment : The Script which caters high society
needs and wants towards furniture , starting range is from26,480 for
armchair 38,870 for 2 seater & 55,620 in 3 seater sofa and for beds it
is 53,440 without storage queen size which goes up to 1,37,470 (king)
as for dining tables it is 21,740 for 4 seater without chairs 26,260 for 6
seater and 8 seater ranges to 65,890 whereas chair individually costs
about 7,670.
KEY DIFFERENCES : PRODUCT RANGE
Metal beds and wardrobes available in a huge variety with number of colour options
where the starting price of metal teen size bed is 14,000 queen size is for 20,000
and king option is 23,000.
The metal wardrobes are in multiple functions such two door hinged wardrobes, 2
door sliding options 3 door options and 4 door options where the 2 door option
starts from 13,000 and sleek sliding wardrobes with 26,000 also customer gets to
customise their choice of colour in metal wardrobes.
SECTIONS:
Interio divides itself in bedroom furniture, living furniture, dining furniture.
Modular kitchen is complete different segment which works all together in same store
but the annual and quarterly divided profits or incentives are differently distributed.
Office furniture is not much focused part of interio.
OMNICHANNEL :
Interio is also a part of omni channel retailing but the customer satisfaction is very low
in terms of pricing marking and variety options.
No pricing or in depth description of financial schemes or benefits are given both in
store as well as store.
FURNITURE :
1. Huge delivery segmentation : Caters for free installations and delivery in Mumbai
up to Pune.
2. Delivery details : floor pieces could be cleared immediately if the customer has
own vehicle for transportation, in case of company vehicle for emergency delivery
it takes 2-3 days for regular deliveries it takes 3-4 working days (if stock is
available in RDC from CDC it takes approx. 7-8 working days) and if the stock is
not available in CDC as well it takes up to 30 days for delivery from the
dealer/manufacturer.
MODULAR KITCHEN :
1. It is an independent operating segment under godrej interio.
2. It takes 35- to 40 days for delivery
3. Designing is done by the consultant after the site visit (processing fee 1000, which
is refundable after completion of project.
4. Average quarterly target is approx 50 lakhs (not included in store target)
5. Average kitchen pricing ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 lakhs.
6. Not much options for handles
7. Interio outsources the plumbing and civil work
TRAINING PROGRAMS:
STAFF induction program is properly planned and executed .
On job training are also regularised with monday meetings and staff briefing about
weekly target growth and areas to work upon.
