 INTRODUCTION

ACTUALLY WITH MANY STUDYING COMPONENTS THERE’S NECESSITY OF

RESEARCHING, SO THAT THAT TO DO IT WE NEED TO USE RESEARCH METHODS.
THERE ARE MANY ALTHOGH DEDUCTIVE RESEARCHING IS THE FOCUS, FROM
GENERFAL IDEA TO A PATICULAR ONE USING THE FOLLOWING STAGES: THEORY,
HYPOTHESIS, OBSERVATION OR TEST AND CONFIRMATION OR REJECTION.
FURTHERMORE IT CAN BE APLIED TO VARIOUS AREAS.
 CONCEPT OF DEDUCTIVE RESEARCH
 The deductive approach is when a hypothesis is developed from an
already existing theory (it is a top-down logic, general to specific);

 It starts with a social theory that they find convincing and then test its
implications with data.

 A deductive approach to research is the one that people typically

associate with scientific investigation.

 The researcher studies what others have done, reads existing theories
and then tests hypotheses that emerge from those theories.
 HOW TO USE DEDUCTIVE METHOD?
 Generally, studies using deductive method uses the following
stages:

PS. The problem of deductive method is that truth of the conclusion depends very
much on the truth of the hypothesis on which it is based.

Examples of true conclusions:

1. All humans are mortal; 1. Roses are plants;

2. I am human; 2. All plants perform photosynthesis;
3. So, I am mortal; 3. Therefore, roses perform photosynthesis.

Examples of false conclusions

1. Good students pass the exams; 1. All human being breath;

2. Blake is a good student 2. Dead people are human being;
3. So, Blake will pass the exams. 3. So, Dead people breath.
 WHEN IS THE DEDUCTIVE RESEARCH USED

1. Deductive reasoning is used to solve company problems. For instance,

if you want to cut down costs;

2. It can be used to settle dispute, understand problems and compare with

solutions;

3. It can be in science to test theories;

4. It can also be used to validate an assumption.

 CONCLUSION

DEDUCTIVE RESEARCH IS A TOP-DOWN LOGIC RESEARCH METHOD

IT MEANS, FROM GENERAL TO SPECIFIC. IT CAN BE USED APPLIED
TO VARIOUS AREAS LIKE COMPANIES, SCIENTIFIC STUDIES, ETC. IT
CAN BE USED IN SCIENCE TO TEST THEORIES. SINCE WE FOLLOW
THE STEPS TO FULFIL A THEORY.
