What is a psychopath?

• A psychopath is a person who interacts with


other people as if they were any other object,
use them to achieve their goals, the
satisfaction of their own interests.
Characteristics

• Mean persons who go against the rules.


• Their behaviour is characterised by:
a) Lack of remorse
b) Complete absence of restrictions.
• These people are very hard to socialise
because their level of fear is partially absent.

- A decrease in the activity of the prefrontal
cortex.
- A hyperactive amygdala
• Environment
- Parental rejection
- Physical and sexual abuse
- Childhood deprivation

• Conscience factor
• Lack of empathy
