INTRODUCTION
• Agriculture is the main occupation and it's a oldest human industry in
our country.
• Many spices from our country are exported which imparts to a part of
nation’s economy.
• There are rising concerns over the growing population brings a lot of
challenges, food production is among one of them .
• Farmers migrate from agriculture to some other occupation due to lack
of knowledge on fertility of land and crop suitability.
• Smart farming and precision agriculture involve the integration of
advanced technologies into existing farming practices in order to
increase production efficiency and the quality of agricultural products.
AIM OF PROJECT

• The main aim of the project is to develop an IoT system that is

capable to check the soil fertility of the agriculture field and to assist
the farmer with the fertilizers and crop suitable for the land for
getting a better yield.
• Also to automate the irrigation system for reducing the water
consumption by maintaining the optimum level for the crop.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

• To help the farmer to know and grow the crop that is best suited for
his land, to reduce water consumption and also to avoid over
watering to the crops.
• Farmers can remotely monitor their crop and equipments by phones
and computers and also robotic vehicle automatically spray
pesticides.
• To predict the fertility level of land using NPK and pH sensors.
• To automate the irrigation system based on soil moisture sensor.
EXISTING SYSTEM

• Satellite Farming or Site Specific Crop Management (SSCM) is a

farming management concept based on observing, measuring and
responding to inter and intra-field variability in crops.
• By collecting the information(soil information and plant samples)
from the crop field and produce the collected information in soil
testing labs.
