INTRODUCTION

 they are a set of general human problems of

our time, which damage both the whole world
and isolated countries. among them wars, social
injustices, hunger and misery, use of natural
resources, among others, but in this case we
will talk about the global production of food.
AGENCY IN CHARGE

 FAO is the Organization of the United Nations that

is in charge of the world production of Agriculture
and Food, Its main function is to lead international
activities aimed at eradicating hunger.
PROBLEM

 The main problem here is the

shortage of food, we have
enough capacity to produce
food for all, but we do not
know how to administer or
distribute food well for
everyone to be fed. what brings
as a consequence hunger,
misery and deaths, why does
this happen? Next we will see
the causes.
MISUSE OF RESOURCES

 The human being has exploited to the

maximum the resources of the nature, and this
does not realize that this generating
unnecessary things, the essential thing here is
the survival of all, and not the likes that only
some can give.
 an example is in the case of
meat, one of the most
consumed products
worldwide, we spend many
water resources and crop
lands to feed animals, while
we could consume that
water and crops for us,
which will feed more
people , that a cow would
do it.
 Another case, the creation
of junk food, which
contains high levels of fats,
sugars, gluten, salt etc,
which brings diabetes,
obesity, high blood
pressure, among others,
apart from being the most
harmful to humans, this It
is also a waste of resources
without meaning, that is,
we should consume these
foods in a healthy way and
not spend so much in
processing these foods,
which are not even with a
good end.
WASTE AND LOSS OF FOOD

 Loss of food
 Food waste.
 In total, 1,300 million tons of food are wasted and
lost each year.
THE GREAT
CONSEQUENCE

 The main consequence that all

these factors bring, is that by
wasting resources, making
unnecessary food, throwing
our food, does not reach us
food for all, because we are
losing, we do not know how
to distribute or make it
abound, and this leads to
famine, and then death, which
is estimated that every day 25
thousand people die because
of this.
WHAT MEASURES ARE BEING TAKEN?

What to do so that food reaches everything?

 Buy seasonal foods, They are grown in the
corresponding season, which implies that they are
more natural fruits and vegetables, in whose
cultivation energy is saved.
 Moderate the consumption of meat, Allocate less
land to grow food for livestock and increase the area
for human consumption
 Less waste of food, Whenever food is thrown away,
remains of food consumed still in good condition, it
is convenient to think about what would be achieved
with these foods in another part of the world.
WHAT IS EXPECTED FOR THE FUTURE?

 The contamination of the atmosphere would cause a

serious deficit of food by 2020, forcing a fifth of the
world's inhabitants to starve.
 It is possible to progress more, but not to eradicate
it in the current conditions, Although the problem is
not the availability but the access to the resources,
before the rise of the prices of the basic foods.
 But the reality is very different and even points to
the possibility of a global crisis of absolute food
supply between 2030 and 2050
CONCLUSION

 The solution may be that all

part of us, we can not make
major changes and that from
one day to another all this
good, even if it is minimal, equal
counts our contribution, we
should create awareness of the
reality of other countries, stop
wasting the food to look bad,
change our diet to healthier
foods and not as processed,
and we will notice the change.
