 Introducción. Todos creados por Dios, pero no

todos son hijos de Dios... Familia aquí, bendición
de Dios; familia espiritual aun más importante…

 Introduction. All are created by God, but not all

children of God… Family here, blessing of God;
spiritual family even more important.

 I. ¿CÓMO ENTRAMOS EN LA FAMILIA?

¿Familia física? Nacimiento físico. ¿Familia de
Dios? Nacer otra vez, Juan 3:3-5.

 I. HOW DO WE ENTER THE FAMILY? Physi-

cal family? Physical birth. Family of God? Be
born again, John 3:3-5.

 “Del Espíritu”: provee simiente incorruptible, la

palabra, 1 Ped. 1:23, el evangelio, 1 Ped. 1:25.
Produce cambio de corazón (fe, arrepentimiento)

 “Of the Spirit”: provides the incorruptible seed,

the word, 1 Pet. 1:23, the gospel, 1 Pet. 1:25.
Produces change of heart (faith, repentance).

 ¿El agua? El bautismo, Jn. 3:23; 4:1; Mat. 28:19;

Hechos 2:38… Rico en significado, Rom. 6:3, 4.

 Water? Baptism, Jn. 3:23; 4:1; Matt. 28:19; Acts

2:38… Rich in significance, Rom. 6:3, 4.

 De esta manera uno llega a ser hijo de Dios, Gál.

3:26, 27… Nace otra vez para entrar en la familia
de Dios.

 In this way one becomes a child of God, Gal.

3:26, 27… Is born again in order to enter the
family of God.

 Según Hechos de los Apóstoles fueron bautizados

“cuando creyeron”. 3000 mismo día, Hech. 2:41;
eunuco, en el camino, Hech. 8:37-39; carcelero, a
media noche, Hech. 16:33, 34.

 According to Acts of the Apostles people were

baptized “when they believed.” 3000 on same
day, Acts 2:41; eunuch, on the road, Acts 8:37-39;
jailer, at midnight, Acts 16:33, 34.

 II. PERTENECEMOS A UNA FAMILIA porque

fuimos añadidos a la iglesia de Cristo, Hech.
2:47; 1 Cor. 12:13; Col. 1:13.

 II. WE BELONG TO A FAMILY because we

were added to the church of Christ, Acts 2:47; 1
Cor. 12:13; Col. 1:13.

 A. Gén. 2:18. Como el hombre necesita su esposa

y familia, así también cada cristiano necesita la
iglesia. Debe pensar, recordar: ¡Tengo familia!

 A. Gen. 2:18. As the man needs his wife and

family, so also every Christian needs the church.
Should think, remember: I have a family!

 B. Comunión con hermanos es parte integral del

plan de Dios. Formamos una familia, para amar,
servir, soportar, perdonar, amonestar, edificar,
animar los unos a los otros.

 B. Fellowship with brethren is an integral part of

the plan of God. We form a family, to love, serve,
bear with, forgive, admonish, edify, encourage
one another.

 C. 1 Cor. 12:12, todos los miembros del cuerpo

constituyen un solo cuerpo. No pensar “lista”
sino “organismo” para adorar, edificarse, obrar,
evangelizar.

 C. 1 Cor. 12:12, all the members of the body con-

stitute one body. Don’t think “list” but rather
“organism” to worship, be edified, work, evange-
lize.

 Cada cristiano encuentra su significado e

importancia como miembro del cuerpo, ajustado,
concertado, coordinado con los demás.

 Each Christian finds his significance and import-

ance as a member of the body, adjusted, joined
together, coordinated with the rest.

 “No necesito la iglesia”= “Señor te quiero a ti

pero no me gusta tu cuerpo… tu esposa”. 1 Ped.
2:17, “amad a los hermanos”.

 “I don’t need the church” = “Lord, I love you but

I don’t like your body… your bride.” 1 Pet. 2:17,
“love the brethren”.

 III. BENEFICIOS DE ESTAR EN LA FAMILIA

DE DIOS. A. Recibimos “dones de nacimiento”:
nombre, identidad, privilegios, herencia, Gál. 4:7

 III. BENEFITS FROM BEING IN THE

FAMILY OF GOD. A. We receive “birthday
gifts”: name, identity, privileges, inheritance,
Gal. 4:7.

 B. Efes. 1:7, “En El tenemos redención mediante

su sangre, el perdón de nuestros pecados según
las riquezas de su gracia”.

 B. Eph. 1:7, “In Him we have redemption

through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace.”

 V. 18, Que “los ojos de vuestro corazón sean

iluminados, para que sepáis cuáles son las rique-
zas de la gloria de su herencia en los santos”.

 V. 18, That “the eyes of your understanding being

enlightened; that you may know what are the

 1 Ped. 1:4, “una herencia incorruptible,

inmaculada, y que no se marchitará, reservada
en los cielos para vosotros”.

undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved

 Apoc. 21:4, “Y Dios enjugará toda lágrima de los

ojos de ellos. No habrá más muerte, ni habrá más
llanto, ni clamor, ni dolor; porque las primeras
cosas ya pasaron."

 Rev. 21:4, "And God will wipe away every tear

from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor
sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain,
for the former things have passed away."

 IV. LOS PRIVILEGIOS MÁS GRANDES DE

LA VIDA. A. Heb. 2:11, “…El no se avergüenza
de llamarlos hermanos”.

 IV. THE GREATEST PRIVILEGES OF LIFE.

A. Heb. 2:11, “…He is not ashamed to call them
brethren.”

 B. Mat. 12:50. Ser incluido en la familia de Cristo

es el honor más grande de la vida. ¿Cómo puede
un hijo de Dios sentirse insignificante?

 B. Matt. 12:50. To be included in the family of

Christ is the greatest honor of this life. How can a
child of God feel insignificant?

 C. Efes. 1:5, “nos predestinó para adopción como

hijos para sí mediante Jesucristo, conforme al
beneplácito de su voluntad”.

as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to

 E. 1 Tim. 3:15, Te escribo “para que sepas cómo

debe conducirse uno en la casa de Dios, que es la
iglesia del Dios vivo, columna y sostén de la
verdad.”

house of God, which is the church of the living

 V. El honor más grande: ser TRANSFORMADO

A LA IMAGEN DE CRISTO. A. Cristo es Dios.
Col. 1:15, Heb. 1:3; Jn. 14:9. La imagen de Cristo
= la imagen de Dios.

 V. The greatest honor: be TRANSFORMED TO

IMAGE OF CHRIST. A. Christ is God. Col. 1:5;
Heb. 1:3; Jn. 14:9. The image of Christ = the
image of God.

 B. Todos hechos a la imagen de Dios, Gén. 1:26,

espíritu, inteligencia, voluntad, emociones, pero
no todos transformados a la imagen de Cristo.

 B. All are made in image of God, Gen. 1:26,

spirit, intelligence, will, emotions, but not all
transformed into image of Christ.

 C. Efes. 4:24, “vestíos del nuevo hombre que ha

sido creado a semejanza de Dios en justicia y
santidad de verdad” - reproducir vida divina.

 C. Eph. 4:24, “put on the new man which was

created according to God, in true righteousness
and holiness” – reproduce the divine life.

 D. 2 Ped. 1:4, “nos han sido dadas preciosas y

grandísimas promesas, para que por ellas seáis
hechos participantes de la naturaleza divina”.

 D. 2 Pet. 1:4, “by which have been given to us

exceedingly great and precious promises, that
through these you may be partakers of the divine
nature.”

 E. Meta primordial = desarrollar el carácter de

Dios. Mat. 5:1-12; el fruto del Espíritu, Gál. 5:22,
23; las siete virtudes de 2 Ped. 1:5-10, etc.

 E. Principal goal = develop Godly character.

Matt. 5:1-12; fruit of the Spirit, Gal. 5:22, 23; the
seven graces of 2 Pet. 1:5-10, etc.

 F. ¿Vida abundante? Juan 10:10. ¿Perfecta

salud, vida acomodada, sueños cumplidos, alivio
de problemas? ¿Cielo aquí en la tierra?

 F. Abundant life? Jn. 10:10. Perfect health,

comfortable life, dreams come true, relief from
problems? Heaven here on earth?

 CONCLUSION. A. Gál. 3:27, “Porque todos los

que fuisteis bautizados en Cristo, de Cristo os
habéis revestido.” Ser como Cristo, vida, obra.

 CONCLUSION. A. Gal. 3:27, “For all of you who

were baptized into Christ have clothed
yourselves with Christ.” Be like Christ, life,
work.

 B. 2 Cor. 3:18, “nosotros, contemplando como en

un espejo la gloria del Señor, estamos siendo
transformados en la misma imagen”.

the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into

 C. 1 Tes. 4:17 “Seremos arrebatados juntamente

con ellos en las nubes al encuentro del Señor en el
aire, y así estaremos con el Señor siempre”.

 C. 1 Thess. 4:17, “Then we who are alive and

remain shall be caught up together with them in
the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus
we shall always be with the Lord.”

 D. 1 Jn. 3:2, “somos hijos de Dios y aún no se ha

manifestado lo que habremos de ser. Pero
sabemos que cuando El se manifieste, seremos
semejantes a El porque le veremos como El es”.

 D. 1 Jn. 3:2, “we are children of God; and it has

not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we
know that when He is revealed, we shall be like
Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
