TIF certification is granted by the Secretary of agriculture
livestock fisheries and food (SAGARPA) plants that meet
more stringent standards hygiene and health for fresh or
processed meats, purchasing from TIF plants provides
assurance and security that care has been taken throughout
the production process with applied technology and
procedures systematized from the receipt of livestock, to
distribution.
