à ëecycling has been around ever since Earth

was around.
à Nature recycle resources, dead plants, and
animals.

„uman disposing has been recorded in the

early 400 B.C.
ëecycling has put into practice mostly, during
the industrial times and World War 2.

à Environmental movement in 1960s to 1970s.

à Earth day started in April 22, 1970.

à ëecycling became a mainstream movement.

à ëecycling was enforced by the law.

à ëecycling can always be annoying, so why not

just throw away?

à Early humans learned that throwing things

away is wasteful, and can cause health
concerns.
à A wise thing to do.

à Create more jobs.

à Better economy and environment.

à Save limited resources.

About 70 % of the Earth·s
surface is cover with
water. Only 1% of the 70%
of water, is usable water.

à What happens if we don·t recycle, any of our

waste.

ëain forest covers about 14% of the earth·s

surface, and produce more than 20% of the
world·s oxygen. If the current destruction rate
continues, within this century all of our rainforest
will be gone.

à Land is being cleared to

make room for landfills.
à The amount of trash that
the United States
produces has tripled in
the past 50 years. At that
rate, we will be producing
nearly a billion tons of
trash a year by 2060.
 The disappearing
forest leads to the
increasing of carbon
dioxide in the
atmosphere.
 ore land fills, can
cause water pollution
and health problems.

As result without,
recycling the earth, will
become a horrific place to
live.

What good will it do if we recycle?

à A better greener future , and environment for

up coming generations.

à By uniting and recycling, we can save a lot of

limited natural resources. Not just water or
trees can be save through recycling, but many
elements as well.

à ëecycling can lead to a stronger economy, by

saving money.

à The world works like a machine, and everything

on earth is part of the machine. To truly recover
from the damage that was caused to the
environment, people have to unit and heal
themselves. The nature·s health are connected
to our health as well, so as result we have to
heal ourselves in order to heal the world.
