Anisotropy Summary

• Rocks can be anisotropic to resistivity


because of depositional environment
• This can complicate interpretation (LRP, etc.)
• AIT-HRLA combination can be interpreted for
Rv in the “overlap” region
• More work needed on petrophysics!
