- About 200 years before the Spanish arrived in the
Philippines the Arabia traded and settled in the Philippines
- The first Arabs to come to our archipelago were merchants
in the course of trading voyages to china.

Tukan Mashaika
- introduced islam in Sulu and Mindanao
