Comparative adjectives are used to compare differences between the two


objects.
They are used in sentences where two nouns are compared, in this
pattern:

NOUN (Subject) + VERB + COMPERATIVE ADJECTIVE + THAN + NOUN (Second subject)

My dog runs faster than Laura’s dog.

You could also use AS to make comparisons with adjectives


NOUN (Subject) + VERB + AS+ ADJECTIVE+ AS+ NOUN (Second subject)

My dog runs AS fast AS Laura’s dog.

In this case it means the same. My dog and Laura’s are equally fast.
NOUN (Subject) + VERB (NOT) + AS+ ADJECTIVE+ AS+ NOUN (Second subject)

My dog doesn’t run AS fast AS Laura’s dog.


In this case it means that my dog runs slower than Laura’s dog.
