The Swiss Family Robinson

Chapter 7
Story line
 Jenny brought the family more good fortune only a few
days later.
 The family lost little time in loading their old cannon with
the last of the gunpowder and signalled back.
 Rescue was at hand.
 Jenny and Fritz were married in London where they
continue to live happily.
 Ernest, Jack, and Franz attended the best schools of
Europe. Their fame grew as they told and retold the
stories of their adventures.
 As for Mr. Robinson and Mrs. Robinson, they decided to
remain on the island.
 They realized, even through their
struggles, that they’d been
perfectly happy. Everything that
they ever needed was already
there.
 In future years many others
would find the island, they knew,
and it would one day become a
proud of new Swiss colony.
 For now, it remained their alone.
Their Eden. Their Paradise, made
just for the two of them.

 In the early 19th century.

 An island in an unknown
location. The Robinson
were shipwrecked off the
coast of this island and
made their home there.
They spent ten years on it
before they were spotted
by a passing ship.

The Robinsons looked for a way to save themselves
when they were shipwrecked and found ways to survive on a
deserted island. Not once did they give up.
 Family is very important –
Throughout the story, the Robinsons were always helping each
other and were supportive of each other as a family. They lived
harmoniously together and each family member always acted
for the benefit of the family. You must love your family members
always, no matter where you are.
 In order to live well, you must learn to cooperate with the
people around you –
Look at how the Robinsons cooperate to build themselves a
new home and a new life. Through their cooperation, the
succeeded.
COMMENTS:

 I am so proud of the parents because they are very


responsible.
 The novel has many good moral values that we can
follow.
 I look up to the main characters because they show
positive characteristics.
 I learn to be more independent from the novel by
learning the challenges faced by the Swiss family.
