Communicative Strategies are plans,
ways, means of sharing information
which are adopted to achieve a
particular social, political, psychological
or linguistic purpose. Strategies used
may include paraphrasing, substitution,
coining new words, switching to the first
language, and asking for clarification.
Presenting a particular topic clearly,
truthfully, and saying what is only
relevant.
A speaker carries out nomination to collaboratively
and productively establish a topic. Basically, when
you employ this strategy, you try to open up a topic
with the people you are talking to.

Once speakers have secured the hearer's attention,


their task becomes one of topic nomination.

When one nominates a topic and the
parties begin to talk about the topic
and the one, usually the one who
nominates the topic reminds anyone
who goes off topic to stick to the
agreed one, topic control takes place.

The strategy that is useful in
introducing another topic. This
strategy works best when there is
follow-through so that new topic
continues to be discussed. This is
also used in repair communicative
strategies.
This is a battle with corporations that
continue to pollute the environment. But this
is also a battle with man himself, who
continues to act as if there is another earth
we can move to once the earth dies.

If we cannot use the earth’s resources,


our economy will die. We need to choose : the
economy or the environment
