Statement of the problem

This research study will determine the Assessment in the implementation and
influences of the OJT in the workplace. Specifically, it seek to answer to the
following questions:
1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:
1.1 Sex
1.2 Age
1.3 Course
1.4 Year Level
2. What are Assessment in the implementation of on the job training in the
workplace and it’s influences in terms of:

2.1 Training Appraisal

2.2 Observation/Participation in the workplace
3. Is there a significant difference on the Assessment in the implementation of on
the job training in the workplace and it’s influences When group according to their
demographic profile?
Methodology

Presented in this chapter are the steps and

procedures conducted for the study consisting of
research design, research environment, and
respondents of the study, research instrument,
data gathering procedure and data analysis.
Research Design

The researchers will employe the descriptive-

survey method in order to secure data to come up with
the precise result of the study. Penwarden (2014) stated
that descriptive research gathers quantifiable information
that can be used for statistical inference on your target
audience through data analysis. This is appropriate in
assessment in the implementation of on the job training in
the workplace and it’s influences.
Research Locale

The research study will be conducted in MATS College of

Technology the said school is the pioneering Aviation
education. The researchers found it appropriate to
conduct survey to attain the college mission that is to
deliver the excellent education at all. It also offers
various programs in various discipline such as Business,
Engineering, Education, Maritime, Criminology, the
institution is situated in R.Castillo St., Agdao Davao City.
This institution is one of the popular in the city. This
institution is a non-sectarian school.
Respondents of the study

The respondents are the 5th year Aeronautical Engineering students and 4th
year BS in Aircraft Maintenance students that are presently enrolled in MATS
College of Technology as of school year 2018-2019. They had the ability to
answer the prepared questions which in regards to their personal experiences
that are suited to the research we gather. The researchers used simple random
sampling for male aero engineering and BSAMT students respondents; Frerichs
(2008) mentioned that subjects in the population are sampled by a random
process, using a random number generator or a random number of table,
therefore each every person remaining in the population has the same
probability of being selected for the sample. (Palys, 2008) stated that one who
engaged in purposive sampling indicates that one who sees sampling as a series
of strategic choices about where, and how one does one’s research. The
period of study was from June to October 2018.
Research Instruments
The researchers was prepared a questionnaire which
was be designed to easily understand. The first draft was
forwarded to the research adviser for comment and
suggestions. It was also undergone validity and reliability
to ensure that the questionnaire is valid and reliable. The
first part will cover the demographic profile of the
respondents. The second part will consist of 2 indicators
with 10 items of the statement for the Assessment in the
Implementation and Influences of the OJT in the
Workplace, the indicators are internship program. It will
remain the basis on the statistical treatment of the data.
Data Gathering Procedure
In gathering the data, the researchers will prepare a
letter duty noted by the research adviser and the Dean
College of Teachers Education asking permission from the
School President of MATS College of Technology. Upon
approval, the researchers randomly administered the
questionnaire to the respondents with the explanation why
the study was conducted. It was then retrieved for
analysis and interpretation. After formulating the survey
questionnaire, the research instrument under validation
process. It was validated from the knowledgeable in the
field. Revisions were done as suggested by the evaluators.
Data Analysis

The first statistical tool will use to interpret the

gathered data was the Frequency Count will be used to
determine the exact number of the respondents of the
study. The Percentage will be also used to determine the
percentage of the respondents of the study. The Mean will
be used to determine the level of the work preference
and lastly ANOVA will be used to determine the significant
difference when analyzed by sex, age, course and year
level.
