These mainly gives
support to deck .
These are the part of
Superstructure.

structures are made
of reinforcement.
There are 171
Sections in one
Girder .
Dia of steel bars : -
Upper and lower
rings are made of
10 mm .
And to join both
rings 12 mm bar is
used ,
12 mm bars are
used in Web .
16 mm binders
are
used .
Reinforcement
Spacing : -
On the both sides of
a girder up to 2400
mm,spacing is
designed 100mm
between two I
sections and after
2400 mm the
spacing between
two I sections is
designed 200 mm ..

H T Cables
High tension
cables are main
part of a girder
as they bears
load and make
girder more
strength .
Diameter of ht
cables is 12.7
mm .
PRE-TENSIONING
GIRDERS : -
In this process profiling of
high tension cables is done
and then load is given to
cables according to design,
Now concrete casting is
done and during this
period cables are in
tension load
After 7 days of casting we
will release loads .
Note- if we do not get the
desired compressive
strength (50mpa) then we
will release load in 3 days .
FINISHING OF FORMWORK
Casting of
Girder
After completing work of
reinforcement and
formwork ,
Now the time comes to
do concreting of the
desired girder
Casting of girder is done
with the help of boom
placer which works on
hydraulic pressure .
Compaction
We are
using
Needle
vibrator.

DOC :-
Date of
Casting .
Sprinkle and
Membrane type of
curing is done for 14
days from DOC ,
these details also
give info. for
checking strength
and launching.
