EXPLANATION OF THE
BEATITUDE
 Who are the meek?

 The meek are those who are:

 Submissive to God’s will
 Humble
 Patient
 Not ambitious
 Forgiving
 Contented
 How will the meek inherit
the land?
 Jesus said, "Blessed are the meek: for they
shall inherit the earth.“

They inherit the earth in another sense, namely,

that they enjoy what they have. Enjoyment of
life does not consist in the possession or
riches.
 The word "meek" however, as used in the
context of this Beatitude was used to
represent a mental attitude - a state of
mind.
 The word meek used in Matthew 5:5 refers
to a strong person who is under control--a
God controlled person.
 He or she is controlled by God in thought,
word, will, emotion, and action.
 “Land" does not mean a piece of land, but
rather our whole outer physical experience
which to have a true freedom and be with
thee state of heaven or Kingdom of God.

 To "inherit the land" therefore means to

gain complete mastery over our entire
physical experience.
EXAMPLES
 Examples of acts of the 3rd
beatitude

 A person humbles him or herself before God

in prayer.
 One individual feeds a homeless individual.
 A person gives clothing to the victims of the
typhoon.
CONCLUSION
 The beatitude wants us to be contented,
happy, and thankful to God of what we have
through these we are truly blessed in life and
are rightful heirs to share God’s kingdom
(land) with His eternal love.

In conclusion

 Those who understand the true mental

nature of the Universe, and can
associate with the Universe with the
correct "meek" state of Mind, shall
easily manifest, "inherit“, attract
Abundance, Health, Happiness and
attract all they consciously wish for in
to material, experiential expression, i.e.
the "earth" - not the Earth.
