Here we can add some effects to make it funnier for the kids, but they love drawings that are not
perfectly made, try some chalkboard art ! Tell them that there are 4 seasons, count with them. It
will help to introduce the song.

PRACTICE-Extensive/Intensive (30´)

Extensive

Let´s play the song about Seasons,

make them listen to it and everytime they hear a
season they must stand up.
Extensive part 2
• Let´s play it again and now they • Play a Hangman´s Bluff using the
have to say the season during four seasons, ask for volunteers
the song. You have to show to come to the board. This
them what to do. How? By activity can be good if you have
playing a piece of it and you sing time as Extensive practice or at
along, then challenge them to the end as Production without
sing the seasons. teacher´s interference.
INTENSIVE PRACTICE

At the Intensive practice, we hand out a

worksheet where they´ll have to fill in the
blanks, it can be done in pairs or individually.
After it´s done, ask volunteers to read and
correct it on the board or Project the worksheet
and the students come and write on the board.
PRODUCTION (15´)
• Ask them to find a partner, sit together and draw a picture of their
favourite Season of the Year. They can draw what they like doing and
wearing through the season. Encourage them to write words and
sentences about it. Make a beautiful bulletin board with the
drawings.
Or...
• Write in four slips of paper, the seasons words, then write words that
describe them (words you used during presentation) in other slips,
hand them in and make a competition. See which group matches
them first. You can set the time for finishing it by playing the song
again, at the end of the song the group whose matches are done is
the winner.
• We can even make them write simple sentences on the board with
these words. Be careful, at this age they are supposed to write simple
structures.
