 Max Station Functions
Classification of Max Stations:
max station are computer based on the
working functionality, it classified
• Engineer station
• Storian station
• Operator station
• Link/OPC Station
 Engineer Station
• Engineer station
- Mainly used to build logic and all
engineering activity in power plant
• Engineer station has all rights to build &
modify logic and controls at both online and
offline
• Only engineer can do this activities
 Operator Station
• Operator station are used to do only
powerplant operation, like operating valves,
monitoring status of device etc..
• But it has no rights to change logic and other
controls
 LINK/OPC STATION
• Link stations are used to send or receive data’s
from third party computer like PLC,GTG etc..
• MODBUS (RS-232) Connection is used to
establish link communication
OPC
OPC stations are also used to make third party
Computer communication through Ethernet
connection
 MAX NET
* maxNET is major role in maxDNA Networking.
*maxnet is used to collect data from all devices
Like maxstation,switch and DPU’s.
• maxDNA has redundent network to provide
lossless data communication for DPU’S and
Maxstation.
• MaxNet namely called NET-A and NET-B.
