2.Design cost efficient UAV for Agriculture
activates.

 Abstract
 India is a country of farmers.
 Pesticide control spraying is most dangerous task as far as health of a farmer
is concerned because farmer put them selves in direct contact with the
poison while spraying the crops.
 If an UAV can be developed at a cost that an farmer can afford that will be a
life changing innovation in agriculture industry.
 This UAV can also be used in domestic pest control activates during
monsoon or during medical emergencies in residential areas.

 Aim or Objective
 The purpose of this project is design and Develop a cost efficient UAV that
can carry liquid pesticide control liquids with spraying mechanism.
 Expected payload carrying capacity is 10- 15 kg.
 At experimental stage model can be developed and stated for smaller
payload too.
Methodology
Methodology
 Methodology
 Preparation of Literature Review.
 Make efficient and low cost design.
 Select Design Software to prepare model design.
 Drafting 3D new design in Software.
 Select spraying mechanism.
 Fabricate UAV model
 Testing with payload and spraying mechanism.
 Requirement
 Designing Software.
 Aircraft modelling and design Lab for UAV model and other required
setups.
Outcomes & Application
 Outcome
 Students will able to understand design process and difficulties as per
requirements.
 Students will get to know how knowledge of aeronautical engineering
can be using in other industries.
 Success full completion of this project will open the door for their
entrepreneurship in Agricultural Industry.
 Application
 Pesticide control activities in Agricultural Areas and Domestic areas.

 Approximate Cost
 15000- 20000 rupees
 That can be decreased after implementing innovative ideas.
3. Computational and experimental Studies of effect
of dimple on Airfoil in Ground Proximity
 Abstract
 Research suggest that ground proximities plays an important role in
Aerodynamics of an airfoil or wing.
 Studies have already been done for various airfoil performance in ground
proximity.
 It will be interesting to study effect of ground proximity on an airfoil with
dimple at various location and of various size.
 Study will involve experimental analysis as well as computational analysis.

marine transport.
 Abstract
 Research suggest that ground proximities plays an important role in
Aerodynamics of an airfoil or wing.
 A Ground effect vehicle is an aircraft that flies in close proximity to the
ground to get the advantages of ground effect aerodynamics. That is
expected to reduce the drag and increase the life so as to increase the fuel
efficiency of aircraft .

 Aim or Objective
 The purpose of this project is to design and prepare a model for Ground
effect vehicle .
