Observations about Falling Balls
When you drop a ball, it
begins at rest, but acquires downward speed
covers more and more distance each second (ideal
situation)
When you toss a ball straight up, it
rises to a certain height
comes momentarily to a stop
Mass and weight are related but they are NOT the
same (you are “weightless” in outer space but you
still have mass!)
