THE HISTORY OF LEMIGAS
The idea of the establishment of a research
institute in the field of oil and gas came
after the birth of Law. 44 Prp 1960 on Oil
and Gas. A committee of experts was
formed immediately. On the advice of the
commission, on June 11, 1965 was established
Indonesian Petroleum Institute which later
became known as the Institute of Oil and
Gas (LEMIGAS).
